
COMMUNITY TICKET PROGRAM
About the Program:
The Tenderloin Museum is committed to making The Compton’s Cafeteria Riot accessible to the community. We are offering a limited number of free and sliding-scale tickets to community members who may not otherwise be able to attend. Tickets are limited, and priority will be given to low-income individuals, longtime Tenderloin residents, and LGBTQ+ community members.
TICKET TYPES:
Free Tickets: Reserved for individuals facing financial hardship, particularly trans and queer elders, low-income residents, and longtime Tenderloin community members.
Sliding-Scale Tickets: Available at $15, $30, and $50 for those who may not qualify for free tickets but find the full price inaccessible.
HOW TO APPLY:
Fill out the application form. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis but must be submitted at least 48 hours before your preferred show date.
Selected recipients will be notified via email or phone at least 24 hours before the performance.
If selected, you must confirm attendance within 12 hours to claim your ticket.
Terms & Conditions: Tickets are non-transferable and must be used by the applicant. No refunds or exchanges. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis but must be submitted at least 48 hours before your preferred show date. Selected recipients will be notified via email or phone at least 24 hours before the performance. If selected, recipients must confirm attendance within 12 hours to claim your ticket. Failure to attend without prior notice may impact future eligibility. Availability is limited, and not all applicants will receive a ticket, however, applicants may reapply for a future performance.
